Chinese electric two-wheeler manufacturer Naxeon has posted images of the CC3 on Instagram and Facebook. The scooter does not yet appear on the brand's international or European websites, but it is already on sale in China and available for pre-order in Bangladesh. The two markets show noticeably different versions of the same vehicle.
Positioning
Naxeon sells the CC3 in China as a lifestyle-oriented entry model aimed at younger riders. It sits below the SC3, SC5 and I AM. models in the brand's line-up. The design follows what Naxeon calls "Capsule Cross" styling: rounded body panels, a ring-shaped LED headlight, block-pattern tyres, an exposed rear shock and a short tail section. Two variants are offered, the CC3 and the longer-range CC3 Max.
Chassis
The Chinese-market CC3 measures 1,749 mm long, 700 mm wide and 1,103 mm high, with a 1,245 mm wheelbase. Kerb weight is 95 kg and seat height is 750 mm. Naxeon says that suits riders between 155 and 180 cm tall. Ground clearance is 130 mm and there is 14 litres of storage under the seat. The scooter rolls on 3.5-10 tyres, with a hydraulic fork up front and a rear shock with five preload settings. Braking is by a front disc and a rear drum.

Powertrain: China
A 60V hub motor delivers 1,200 W rated and 1,700 W peak output, for a top speed of 45 km/h. In China both variants use lead-acid batteries. The CC3 has a 60V/20Ah pack, rated at 50 km in mixed use and 75 km at a constant 25 km/h. The CC3 Max uses a 60V/32Ah pack, rated at 75 km in mixed use and around 100 km at 25 km/h. Charging power is 240 W. Naxeon quotes a maximum climbing angle of 10.2 degrees, or an 18 percent grade, with a 75 kg rider. The company itself advises riders who regularly tackle steep roads to choose a model with a stronger motor.
Powertrain: Bangladesh
The version offered through Naxeon's Bangladeshi importer uses lithium-ion batteries and is rated for 60 km/h. The CC3 is quoted at 65 to 70 km of range. The CC3 Max offers 70 to 80 km from a removable battery. The Bangladeshi spec sheet for the CC3 Max lists 1,671 x 694 x 1,075 mm dimensions, a 51 kg weight excluding battery, 10-inch aluminium wheels and a steel tube frame. Local pricing is 98,000 taka for the CC3 and 120,000 taka for the CC3 Max. Seven colours are listed: orange, black, white, dark grey, grey, green and pink.
Connected features
Like other Naxeon models, the CC3 runs the brand's own software platform. Listed features include Bluetooth, over-the-air updates, app connectivity, smartphone and NFC card unlocking, GNSS tracking, anti-theft alerts and a side-stand sensor. Rider aids include multiple ride modes, a low-speed "snail" mode for manoeuvring, regenerative braking, cruise control, hill hold, hill descent control and a user-adjustable throttle response.
European plans
Naxeon has not announced European pricing, specifications or a launch date for the CC3. The company lists European offices in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands. It is not yet clear whether a European CC3 would follow the 45 km/h Chinese specification, which matches the L1e moped class, or use the lithium-ion batteries of the Bangladeshi version.

LiveWire Group will show its broadest line-up so far at EICMA 2026 in Milan The Harley-Davidson-backed electric brand shares its stand with the parent company and will bring bikes from three product families: S4 Honcho, DUST and STACYC. Two of the models on display are new and planned for 2027.
Jon Bekefy, Head of Commercial at LiveWire, said the Milan show reflects the continued growth of the group's portfolio. According to Bekefy, the aim of the STACYC, S4 Honcho and DUST ranges is to get more people onto two wheels and keep them riding for life.
S4 Honcho Street arrives in Europe
The S4 Honcho family will be shown in three versions. The production S4 Honcho Street makes its European debut in Milan. Its US launch is planned for next week, and European sales are due to start right after the show. The off-road-oriented S4 Honcho Trail is already on sale worldwide.

The third variant is new. The S4 Honcho Skate will be shown to the public for the first time and is planned for 2027 as an addition to the Honcho range.
DUST Hightail under the LiveWire name
LiveWire acquired the assets of Dust Moto earlier this year. EICMA will be the first public showing of the DUST Hightail as a LiveWire product. The bike on the stand is described as production-intent, and the model is scheduled for introduction in 2027.

A second DUST model, the Spur, will also be previewed in Milan, again with a 2027 target. LiveWire presents the DUST line as the link between its STACYC children's bikes and its other models, with each family aimed at a different group of riders.
STACYC line-up
STACYC, the electric balance bike brand within the group, will show its current range: the 16eDrive, 20eDrive, 16eDrive Elite and 20eDrive Elite. LiveWire says STACYC has put more than 250,000 young riders on two wheels since it introduced the electric balance bike category.

Specifications to follow
LiveWire has not yet released technical details for the S4 Honcho Skate or the DUST Spur. Preliminary specifications and timing will follow on 2 November 2026. Final production specifications and pricing are expected in the first quarter of 2027.

Around the halfway point of the Superbike season, the series will return to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca July 9-11 for the MotoAmerica Speedfest at Monterey Presented by Law Tigers event. Last July, the 2.24-mile, 11-turn legend delivered a weekend for the ages—JD Beach led every single lap of both Superbike races for a flag-to-flag double, the Supersport title fight went down to the Corkscrew itself with Binder and Herrin splitting wins, BPR Racing Yamaha teammates Bryce Kornbau and Andy DiBrino traded Super Hooligan wins by tenths, and home hero Kensei Matsudaira swept Talent Cup competition. The 2027 weekend features Quad Lock Superbike, Supersport, Mission King Of The Baggers, Mission Super Hooligan National Championship, and the Talent Cup—and the Corkscrew will be waiting.

Is fining Marc Marquez for not turning up to promotional events the right thing to do? And we preview the Australian round of MotoGP from the iconic Phillip Island circuit and try not to talk about the weather.
David Emmett Tue, 20/Oct/2026 - 15:41Toprak Razgatlioglu is set to miss the remainder of the 2026 MotoGP season. The Prima Pramac Yamaha rider suffered a massive highside in FP2 at the Mandalika International Circuit nine days ago, and was forced to retire from the Indonesian GP the following day.
On his return home, Razgatlioglu had further medical examinations, and the damage to his shoulder will require surgery to fix. That surgery is scheduled for Monday October 26th, the Monday after Phillip Island, which rules him out of the Australian GP. The recovery time also means he will miss the rest of the 2026 MotoGP season.
A date for his return has not yet been set. He will no doubt be hoping to return for the test to be held on December 1st, the Tuesday after the Valencia round of MotoGP, but it is far from certain he will be fit in time. Otherwise he will have to wait until the Sepang test in February next year.

The 2027 FIM MotoJunior World Championship calendar is here! Racing across Portugal, Spain, Czechia, Italy and France, 2027 promises excitement from the very start. With seven rounds and a brand-new destination on the calendar, the next generation will have plenty of opportunities to make their mark on the Road to MotoGP
.
The 2027 season starts at the beginning of May, with the Circuito do Estoril set to host the opening round. From there, it's a busy June as the MotoJunior paddock heads to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya before a historic first visit to Brno a few weeks later. Misano follows in July, continuing a busy stretch before the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours hosts Round 5.
MotoJunior will not visit the classic Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto in 2027 due to works to be undertaken on its facilities, but the Championship returns for more in September, with MotorLand Aragon holding the penultimate round of the season. The paddock then heads to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo for the grand finale in Valencia.

Brea, CA - Richard Gadson raced his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Suzuki Gen 3 Hayabusa to the final round of eliminations for the eighth time this season, finishing as runner-up and extending his points lead in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs at the Texas NHRA FallNationals at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX, on Sunday.

Near-perfect fall weather and ideal track conditions in Dallas set the stage for Texas Motorplex's Stampede of Speed, a week-long racing festival capped by the NHRA national event. The event frequently produces record-breaking runs and late-season upsets that shake up the standings deep into the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Richard Gadson qualified fifth with a 6.692-second/202.07 mph run on Saturday.
Gadson opened Sunday's elimination rounds by defeating Marc Ingwersen (6.835 seconds/197.10 mph) with a 6.694-second/201.88 mph run in the first round, then knocked out Angie Smith (8.940 seconds/95.65 mph) in round two with a 6.719-second/201.13 mph pass.
In the semifinal round, Gadson defeated Steve Johnson (6.780 seconds/198.59 mph) with a 6.703-second/201.30 mph pass to advance to his eighth final-round appearance of the season and 17th of his career.
But despite posting a career-best 6.654-second/203.79 mph run in the final round, Gadson lost on a hole shot to Matt Smith, whose .027-second starting line advantage combined with a 6.660-second/203.08 mph pass was just quick enough to edge out the defending world champion.
With the runner-up finish, Gadson extended his lead in the Countdown to the Championship standings to 58 points over teammate Gaige Herrera with two races remaining in the six-race playoffs. Smith made up some ground in third place, closing to within 85 points of Gadson.
"A .030 on the tree is a very respectable light but it isn't going to cut it right now. The class is that tight. Gaige and I both had similar lights in the rounds we lost today despite running in the 6.60s. That's tough racing," Gadson said. "I've been to the last three final rounds, and my goal is to get to the finals in the next two races. I've just got to keep fighting to withstand the assault that's coming from behind me."
Looking ahead to the next race in Las Vegas and the season finale in Pomona, Gadson hopes to improve his qualifying performances in order to earn more points and put himself in the best position on the ladder heading into the elimination rounds.
"We haven't had the best qualifying efforts the last couple of races, so I haven't been getting many bonus points," he said. "We're definitely hoping to pick that up in the next two races because I have a feeling those points are going to matter here at the end of the year."

Gaige Herrera ran 6.651 seconds at 203.05 mph on Saturday, earning his fourth number one qualifying spot of the season and the 35th of his career.
In round one, Herrera ran 6.669 seconds at 202.46 mph, the low elapsed time of the round, against Hector Arana Jr. (foul). But despite making a nearly identical 6.669-second/202.68 mph pass in round two, Herrera wasn't quick enough on the starting line to advance against veteran Suzuki rider Steve Johnson, who posted the quickest run of his 40-year career, a 6.673-second/201.23 mph pass that beat Herrera on a hole shot. Suzuki congratulates Johnson on his personal-record-setting run.
Thanks to qualifying bonus points, Herrera had whittled Gadson's lead down to 18 points prior to the start of eliminations, but the early exit was a setback in the two-time champion's quest for a third title. Herrera now sits 58 points behind Gadson and will be looking for a reversal of fortunes in Las Vegas in two weeks.
"My Hayabusa was like a bracket bike this weekend, running consistently in the 6.60s, but I just got edged out there in the second round. Steve Johnson was a little better on the tree, and his win light came on. That's good racing and I can't really be mad about it," Herrera said. "Losing that round didn't set me too far back, but I'm not one to focus on counting points. I'm focused on winning a third championship. I'm still in the fight and it's going to be a fight to the end."
RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Suzuki crew chief Andrew Hines said the track preparation and cool weather in Dallas produced the type of conditions tuners dream of when trying to produce the high horsepower numbers that result in quick elapsed times and fast top speeds.
"It was a killer racing surface and the best weather conditions we've seen in years. The only thing we were missing was a tailwind. As a tuner, you dream of weekends like this. We had fast motorcycles and proved we're here to battle for the championship, but we came up short and didn't come home with the Wally," Hines said. "We're going to keep doing what we do in Las Vegas, try to gobble up all the qualifying points and narrow the championship down to just Richard and Gaige heading into the finale in Pomona."
With two races remaining in the Countdown to the Championship, Gadson and Herrera sit first and second in the standings, with 2,475 and 2,417 points, respectively.

Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) are pleased to announce that Diogo Moreira will join the Honda HRC Castrol factory team for the 2027 FIM MotoGP World Championship in a multi-year agreement, lining up alongside Fabio Quartararo as a new era begins.
The 22-year-old Brazilian steps up from LCR Honda, where he has spent his rookie premier-class season after signing an HRC contract off the back of his impressive Moto2 World Championship campaign. With five wins, 13 podiums and nine pole positions across the lightweight and middleweight classes, Moreira's trajectory from entering the World Championship in 2022 to MotoGP in 2026 has been meteoric.
Crowned Moto2 World Champion in 2025 in just his fourth season racing on the world stage, a breakthrough first intermediate-class victory at Assen saw him fight back through the standings to take the title. The blend of raw speed, race craft and composure under pressure convinced HRC he was ready for the premier class and a clear star of the future.
His first year in MotoGP confirmed that judgement. Moreira approached the season with a clear plan and built his confidence and understanding of the Honda RC213V step by step until a breakout weekend at the Catalan GP where he achieved his first top ten finish. Since then, he has consistently battled for top Honda honours in the majority of races. A debut Sprint podium at HRC's home race in Motegi proved he was ready for the factory team.
The #11 will join Fabio Quartartaro in the Honda HRC Castrol team on a multi-year contract as the MotoGP World Championship transitions to a new set of technical regulations. A combination of proven success and youthful promise, the 2027 Honda HRC Castrol line up heads into the new season with the objective of returning Honda HRC back to the top of the MotoGP World Championship standings.
Moreira will not be the first Brazilian to ride for the factory Honda squad in the premier class, Alex Barros earning four podiums during the 2004 MotoGP season with the Honda RC211V.

Brazilian rider Diogo Moreira made his MotoGP debut in 2026 with the Pro Honda LCR team. So far, in his rookie season, he has achieved an impressive second-place finish in the Sprint at the Japanese Grand Prix, secured several top-10 finishes, and collected a total of 74 points across the first 17 Grands Prix.
With the season still underway, the team would like to thank Diogo for his commitment, determination, hard work, and ability to learn and adapt to new challenges and situations. Beyond his performance on track, the team also appreciates his laughter, his sense of humour, and the charisma he brings to the garage every day.
It has been a rewarding, joyful, and truly special journey. The Pro Honda LCR team would like to thank Diogo for the moments shared, both on and off the track, and wish him all the best for the future.

Two wheels meet four at one of the world's greatest racetracks in Austin, Texas.
MotoGP will bring the world's fastest motorcycles to the FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2026 at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), with four premier-class machines set to take to the track for a high-speed demonstration on Saturday.
Capable of speeds exceeding 225mph and lean angles of more than 60 degrees, MotoGP bikes represent the pinnacle of two-wheel racing. In a landmark moment for global motorsport, the demonstration and wider fan activations will see the inclusion of MotoGP during a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend for the first time, in front of a crowd of more than 400,000 fans expected across the event.
MotoGP Hall of Fame inductee Dani Pedrosa (KTM), 2027 MotoGP rider and current WorldSBK World Champion Nicolo Bulega (Ducati), and MotoGP test riders Andrea Dovizioso (Yamaha) and Lorenzo Savadori (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team) will take to the iconic Austin circuit, giving Formula 1 fans a rare opportunity to experience the speed and sound of MotoGP up close, with bikes capable of producing more than 130 decibels of noise.
The showcase will take place on Saturday, 24 October, from 11:40am to 12:00pm CDT, with riders completing high-speed laps around COTA ahead of Free Practice 3.
With the MotoGP World Championship competing in Australia on the same weekend, the showcase provides a unique opportunity to bring MotoGP directly to one of the biggest sporting events in the United States and one of the most attended motorsport weekends in the world.
In addition to the on-track action, MotoGP will host a dedicated fan activation in the circuit Fan Zone throughout the weekend, featuring the four motorcycles on display and opportunities for fans to get closer to the sport.
MotoGP teams and riders will be onsite from Thursday through Sunday as the championship continues to build momentum towards its 2027 Grand Prix of the United States, which returns to COTA from April 23-25, 2027.
Dani Pedrosa, who won three Grand Prix World Championships across the 125cc and 250cc classes, said: "It's always special to ride a MotoGP bike at COTA, one of the most iconic circuits in the world.
"The United States Grand Prix is a truly unique and special event on the F1 calendar, attracting an incredible crowd and providing a great opportunity to give fans a taste of what makes MotoGP so exciting. The speed, the sound and the performance of these bikes is something you have to experience in person, and I'm looking forward to sharing that with everyone in Austin."
Nicolo Bulega, current WorldSBK World Champion with Ducati, who will make the switch to compete in MotoGP next season as part of Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, added: "This is a fantastic opportunity to put MotoGP in front of one of the biggest crowds in world motorsport. The atmosphere at COTA is always incredible, and to ride a MotoGP bike in front of so many fans will be a special experience.

B2B News | NOVUS (Germany) has closed a funding round in the double-digit million-dollar range, led by Berlin-based venture firm 468 Capital. The company plans to use the capital to scale its operations across Europe and to prepare its entry into the United States, scheduled for 2027. The exact amount of the round has not been disclosed.
From founder-funded prototypes to series production
NOVUS built its first prototypes in-house, financed by the founders themselves. According to CEO and founder René Renger, the company then took its hardware into series production using a fraction of the capital that comparable vehicle start-ups typically require. The round comes after NOVUS reached that milestone: the NOVUS One is now in series production and being delivered to customers in several European countries.
The concept behind the vehicle has remained the same since the start. NOVUS positions its products as a separate category it calls the Lightbike, combining the intuitive handling of an e-bike, the agility of a scooter and the performance of a motorcycle in one design. Renger says that when he started the company, he did not know whether anyone would believe in a vehicle that fit no existing category.
Roadmap: NOVUS Two and US launch
Three priorities follow from the investment. The first is the NOVUS Two, which the company describes as its volume model, intended to bring the Lightbike category to a much broader market. The second is further expansion into what NOVUS calls Europe's lifestyle metropolises. The third is the launch in the United States in 2027.
Targeting car drivers, not motorcyclistsNOVUS frames its addressable market well beyond the motorcycle segment. The company states that 97 percent of people in European cities hold a car driving licence, and that in many countries this licence is sufficient to ride the entry configuration of the NOVUS One, and in some cases even the most powerful version. On that basis, NOVUS sees its potential customer base as more than 400 million car drivers across Europe and North America.
Renger says the goal is not to electrify the existing motorcycle market but to reshape urban mobility around vehicles that take up less space, weigh less and produce less noise. Alongside the hardware, NOVUS is working on what it calls physical AI for urban mobility: a platform of two- and four-wheeled vehicles designed to learn from ride data and improve through software updates.
Investor network from tech, automotive and consumerBesides 468 Capital, where partners Ludwig Ensthaler and Emanuel Pallua led the round, NOVUS has assembled a shareholder base of more than 30 investors. COO and founding member Hannes A.H. Krieger explains that the company deliberately did not go looking for traditional mobility investors. Instead, it built a network of leaders who have scaled and disrupted markets, which he compares to NOVUS having its own Y Combinator. Krieger describes the strategy as "Genkidama": building NOVUS together with the industry rather than alone. Drawing on several years of experience as a venture scout, he says he has not seen a comparable shareholder ecosystem before.
Named backers include Eric Bach, former Chief Engineer at Lucid Motors and previously in an engineering leadership role at Tesla, and Martin Hoffmann, former CEO of Swiss sportswear brand On, who led that company through its IPO. A co-founder of Xiaomi and racing driver Sophia Floersch are also among the shareholders, together with founders and executives with backgrounds at Adidas, AMG, Audi, BMW, Chrono24 and FINN.
According to NOVUS, these investors contribute expertise and international networks in addition to capital, as the company positions itself as a technology brand rather than a conventional vehicle manufacturer.
ContextThe round stands out in a market where several electric two-wheeler start-ups have struggled to secure follow-up funding in recent years. NOVUS closing a significant round after reaching series delivery, rather than before, gives the company a stronger position as it moves from low-volume premium production towards a volume model and a new continent.

NOVUS >After its first "Energica is back" event in San Francisco on 28 October, Energica moves to Milan for the second stop. On Wednesday 4 November, during EICMA week, the Italian electric motorcycle maker will open the doors of a historic venue away from the show floor, with both public and private sessions. THE PACK Italia was asked to support the event.
The venue
The event takes place at the Fonderia Napoleonica Eugenia in Milan's Isola district. The building is a former bronze foundry dating from the 19th century, set behind an iron gate on Via Thaon di Revel. Its location offers a quieter alternative to the busy EICMA exhibition grounds.
Public sessions
From 16:00 to 18:00 and from 20:30 to 22:00, the venue is open to the public. Visitors can see the Energica motorcycles on display and talk with members of the Energica staff. No food or drinks are served during the public sessions.
Private event
From 18:00 to 20:30, the venue is reserved for an invitation-only event for riders, friends, partners and press. The programme includes a press conference with Energica's new management, a question session with the management team and an Italian aperitivo.
Background
Energica was founded in Modena, in Italy's Motor Valley, with the aim of building high-performance electric motorcycles. The company supplied the bikes for the first four seasons of the FIM MotoE World Cup.
