| Deeply ambivalent about this. I do understand, but was also somewhat sickened by Assen, Sachsenring and Lorenzo's subsequent surgery. Eventually, these racees need protecting from themselves even though Dr Costa has a pretty strange take on what "protecting" means. ISTR Lorenzo having a huge high side at Laguna, and also racing with legs so bad he had to be helped from crutches onto the bike.
