Without a subscription, you can share an artist but not an album or track that you've uploaded. Even if Google recognised it as officially available. Why? I know the person I want to share it with has it in their library. And in any case, it encourages music sales, doesn't it?
AFAIK, iTunes and Spotify (and probably others) allow you and encourage you to share music, even if it's likely the other person can't listen to it without buying or subscribing.
This is all just pushing me towards YouTube, because I can probably find it on there and then the other person can listen for free (with advertising).
