I recently received a warning email and message from Google which contained this text.

"Facilitating the sale of regulated goods or services, or promoting
regulated goods and services to inappropriate audiences, is not
permitted."

This contained no detail about which post was an issue, nor exactly what action was at fault. As near as I can tell what I did that was incorrect was violate entry 13 here https://www.google.com/intl/en/+/policy/content.html by having links to two specialist alcohol producers in a post. I'm not affiliated to them in any way but I was talking about making cocktails with unusual ingredients and wanted to provide some context. I've posted many posts over the last few years which might loosely be called "Friday Night Cocktails" containing recipes for alcoholic beverages with no problems. The only difference with this one was that it contained links to the manufacturer's websites where the products are on sale.

The question I guess is what constitutes "Facilitating the sale". "promoting regulated goods" and "inappropriate audiences"?

As usual, Google is fairly vague both with the T&Cs and with the warning and there's no obvious way to get clarification hence the posts here. I obviously don't want to lose access to my Google account, so I'm now hesitant to experiment and push to see where the boundaries of acceptable behaviour lie.
