Good. I admire him greatly but there comes a time when their shelf life is over, they are trading on long past glories, and holding young guys back from getting on decent seats. I'm sure he is a decent man, always comes across as a lovely guy in tv interviews, and such. I always wanted him to go, VR too.. the risk of serious injury is ever present and I'd hate to see him hurt. WF
I wish people would announce their retirement at the end of the year and not the beginning. It worries me that they'll try for one more season when their hearts not really in it.
I'd like to have seen Edwards do a season somewhere that he could win a race or two. He's one of those people who goes all the way to world champion until they get to MotoGP and then never wins another race.
