40 ml Gin
15ml Triple Sec
10ml Lemon Juice
A splash of Grenadine
Shaken and strained into a chilled cocktail glass.
One for the sophisticated lady, it dates from 1930. The triple sec softens the gin, while the grenadine adds a delightful pink colour and some sweetness to counteract the lemon juice. But still quite sour and refreshing so not exactly appropriate for November unless you've lit a fire and are getting too hot.
