So farewell then Google Buzz.
In a few weeks we’ll shut down Google Buzz and the Buzz API, and focus instead on Google+. While people obviously won't be able to create new posts after that, they will be able to view their existing content on their Google Profile, and download it using Google Takeout.

It's going to be interesting seeing how old posts in Buzz become visible in G+ along with old comments. I see there's already a warning about this on the Buzz tab of your profile.

I also really hope that somebody in Google lists out the good features in Buzz that still haven't made it across into G+ and gets them on the G+ development priority list. See https://plus.google.com/106416716945076707395/posts/1TbG4deZzDG for something I wrote about this back in August.

The Buzz API had POST and there was some Friendfeed-like ability to import posts from some other platforms. If that goes will something in G+ be built to replace it? I'm not asking for direct import into the main stream, but I still think there's a need somewhere on the Google Profile for a tab that aggregates everything you do everywhere else.25 Musley Ln, Ware, Hertfordshire SG12 7
