Today's "Yak Shaving" exercise. Eventbrite iphone app requires iOS 4.1. iOS 4.2 just released requires iTunes 10.1. iTunes 10.1 encourages a Quicktime and Safari update as well. Now it's a 135Mb download, a 20 minute install and a reboot. Then an iPhone install, 75 page T&Cs to accept and an iPhone reboot. Then the Eventbrite install. Sigh. Time for lunch.
The best thing about Google Chrome? Completely invisible and automatic updates. All software should be like that now.
