It's all sh*t and I hate it. And it's sh*t. So much of my life seems to consist of moaning that either something is just wrong, or there's some thing completely obvious that's missing or hasn't been done yet. This is particularly bad with computers, computing and the internetwebz. Some times it's trivial, like "why doesn't Buzz Atom include location data" or "why isn't there RSS of Facebook Status". Some times it's really damn annoying, like iTunes. But this stretches into a lot of other products as well. Like "Why did Suzuki weld the Catalyser to the front header pipes on the GSXR750" or "why do I have to pull the clutch in to start the engine". Then there's "Why is Westminster Council charging me for parking a M/C?". Or how about "Why is an Omega Seamaster tough enough to cope with James Bond, but mine breaks twice in 3 years?". Then we've got "Why are so many utilities copying the mobile phone industry by making tariffs so complicated you have no idea what it will cost?". And that's mostly products. I haven't even got started on politics, global warming, religion, road works, potholes and so on. I just find myself being mad as hell and not wanting to take it any more, way too much. Do I just like moaning that my cup is half empty or may be it's the old adage that "90% of everything is cr*p". Perhaps I should just get a job as a Taxi driver and revel in it.
