Is it Greed or Envy that drives mankind forwards? Just got this on a mailing list. "My bro just got back from a vacation in Florida, could not get over people complaining that gasoline was up to $2.50 a gallon when over here [Europe] it is twice as much :) ... He wants to live there and run a Shelby Mustang and a SUV with a full size V8 people carrier for shopping and family trips and a Civic for each of his kids to drive to high school and a jet ski for weekends and a snowmobile for Winter vacations and some dirt bikes for the desert ... " Some of the world sees all that as a bit greedy. Most of the world envies it and wishes they could have it too.
