Buzz is typical Google. Amazing technology. Not entirely thought through. Launched when it's not entirely finished. Frustrations with Buzz - No control over notifications - No way to collapse comments - No banning-moderation on sepecific comments and commentors - Not enough support for Location. Some on phones, nothing on web. Why? - No way to merge multiple Google accounts. - Feeds are mildly broken. Some stupid design choices about titles and links. - Typical geek approach to privacy. You want to be private? why? - Support to auto-update Twitter-Facebook should have been baked in - Too hard to add arbitrary feeds into your buzz. Google wants you to validate that you actually own the feed you're bringing in - Incoming feeds to slow to update. WIll pubsubhub fix this? - Need to do more work on volume and learn from Twitter's problems with volume. Follow 500 of noisy people like Scoble and it's overwhelming.
