After reading about the Coave Aeropress metal filter, http://www.hasbean.co.uk/products/Coava-Aeropress-Disk.html and the Aeropress World championships http://worldaeropresschampionship.wordpress.com/ I've been experimenting with new ways of using the Aeropress. Coffee quality has improved noticeably by *not* following the instructions. Turn it upside down and it becomes very like a cafetiere but then you use the filter to avoid the sludge.
