About 5 years ago I had to visit a major England NHS Hospital. I was surprised to see posters around the building aimed at staff encouraging them to get their seasonal flu jab. You would think this would be organised and promoted by the administration, not something that relied on individual choice and effort.

You have to ask. If you're a frontline HCW involved with direct patient care, why would you not get all the vax that's available?

In the autumn vax booster campaign, "Front line Health Care Workers" were eligible. It's not really clear to me what they would actually be. The Gov identified 1,123,365 in the NHS Staff record. So presumably this doesn't include care homes or maybe even GP surgeries. You would think there would be a major internal push to promote this via HR and staff mgmt.

351,058 got it. 31.3%

This seems low. Both on eligibility and uptake. Even HCW couldn't be bothered to get a booster.
