Another MotoGP weekend. Another gripe that Moto2 and Moto3 have no warm up on Sunday. This is a safety issue as the first after an overnight build is the sighting lap from the pits to the grid. It should be easy to fit 3 10 minute sessions into the schedule. Even with a Rookies race as well.

The previous shelter just fell down. This one was pushed. 2 years go, they just trashed everything. Things like filling one of the kettles with sugar cubes, the other kettle with charcoal. The composting loo had a mirror, so they smashed it. Feral Kids, I tell you. And they never grow up or socialise. So they become feral adults. Some of them end up as Light-Middle Weight World Champs. And then get caught hare coursing and the Court says, can't keep a dog for 5 years.

Feeling sad because the local feral G&T kids have knocked down my primitive wood shelter, broken into the locked wheelie bins and stolen two axes, a saw and a hammer. But they left the beer and the Ghillie Kettle! This too shall pass. I'm not selling the wood but every time this bullshit happens the price goes up by 25k. Been there 15 years but it's only got bad in the last 3 years when the G&T community turned up.

Arctic Sea Ice Extent and Area are very close to minimum now. The year looks unexceptional at around 10th-13th in the records. Current Jaxa Extent is 4.48m km^2 . A long way from the 1m k^2 BOE or the 2012 3.4m record. But this hides the fact that volume continues to drop and the Atlantic and Russian sides of the CAB are rubble with lots of open water, all the way to the Pole.
